Question

I've noticed all my transactions from past tax years have vanished. Anyone able to help me get them back?

I want to get last years tax receipts sorted and tax filed but for some reason the past 8 years of records and transactions have vanished from my account. Only this tax year shows anything.

I've got steps to help you retrieve your missing transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), billing.

First off, could you please provide the name of your bank? This information will allow us to identify any potential issues related to that institution.

We also recommend checking with your bank to see if there are ongoing maintenance or system interruptions that might be causing the issue.

If you find that there are no issues on the bank’s end, I'd recommend contacting our QBSE Support Team. They have the right tools to check your account and perform a further investigation to identify the reason why your transactions vanished.

Here's how:

  1. From the Help tab, type or say Talk to a human.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter a brief summary of your concern, then hit Continue.
  4. Choose a way to connect with our Live support.

Alternatively, while we work on resolving this issue, you can manually upload your bank transactions into QuickBooks to ensure your records are up to date.
