On vat page it is asking for action required to grant qb authority but page want complete task keeps returning to government gateway page ?

When it takes you to the government gateway page is it not asking you to log into to give QB authority? 

Try logging into your gateway to see if it then lets you onto the taxes page without asking you for authority.
