My employer has 2 separate companies on QBs but they are one legal entity.  How do we combine the VAT Return info from both to file one VAT Return ??  Many thanks

Hi AlisonC, thanks for joining the QB Community - do you currently use two separate QuickBooks subscriptions for the companies? 🙂

Hi, I presume not as we pay one monthly fee

Hello AlisonC, so you have desktop and have two company files, the only way to do this would be through QuickBooks Online and with the bridging software, you cannot merge VAT returns for 2 different companies on Desktop, same as with QuickBooks Online. You would have to have QuickBooks Online to do bridging software with a spreadsheet, you'd have to manually create with the two companies data.
