The numbers in box 7 of my vat return nead changing and the programme wont let me do it

You won't be able to able to adjust box number 7 if your FRS (Flat Rate Scheme) is turned on. You can turn it off temporarily, and turn it back on after adjusting box 7. However, please have your accountant see your adjustment to make sure your records are correct.

To turn off FRS:

1. Go to Taxes.
2. Click the Edit VAT button in the upper right-hand corner and select Edit Settings.
3. Remove the checkmark in the Flat Rate Scheme (FRS) checkbox. Put it back after doing an adjustment.
4. Click Save.
