An amount error was made on a 1099 filed by my company. The original was accepted by the IRS. Why am I unable to make corrections until February?

The 1099 correction feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is currently not available. It is expected to be available in February 2026.

When the correction window becomes available, you'll have the ability to directly modify the forms you previously submitted in QBO.
