Question

How do I import Stripe transactions into Quickbooks? The help articles say to go to an integration page, but the page doesn't exist when I click the link.

Do you need to import payments by Stripe against your invoices or do you need to import them as Sales Receipts?

Good day, Jewel.

To import your Stripe transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed, you can manually upload them using a CSV file, as this version does not offer direct integration with Stripe, unlike other versions of QuickBooks, such as QuickBooks Online.

The help articles you’re referring to are intended for other versions of QuickBooks, such as Online, which have more integrations.

Here's how to import your transactions into QBSE:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-employed.
  2. Click the Gear icon.
  3. Under Transactions, select Import transactions.
  4. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
  5. Select Import.

If your account is connected to online banking and you need older transactions, refer to this article: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

We’re here to assist further and ensure everything works smoothly for you.
