How to import exported to Google Drive account data (.zip file) in another QBO account

My goal is to copy all the data from one QBO account to another one. I already did settings -> Back up company -> Personal cloud archive - > Export to Google Drive. Now, is there a single button to push in another QBO account to import the data provided by the .zip file? I know that there's an option of importing data separately (Bank transactions, Invoices, Customers etc.) but it's tedious work as there are different limitations when importing data (for example, one cannot import more than 1000 invoices at once - and even that takes 20-25 minutes. To make things worse imported data may come in spoiled shape, meaning some errors with formats etc.). 
I'm also aware that I can copy data to another company (settings -> Back up company ->Copy -> Create copy) but in my case I have no company to copy to. The question is if I create another QBO account with the same email will "Add company" button actually add it from this new account?

I appreciate the detailed information of your situation, David. Currently, there isn’t a single button in another QBO account that allows you to import all data directly from the .zip file you exported to Google Drive from the original QBO account.

 

To address your second question, yes, it’s possible to create a new QBO account using the same email or Intuit login credentials associated with your current account. However, to copy your existing account’s data, the new account must be subscribed to QuickBooks Online Advanced edition. You can either subscribe to or start a trial of the Advanced plan, and the newly created account will then appear under the Add Company button.

 

From there, you’ll be able to use the Make a Copy feature to transfer data from the original account to the new account. This ensures that all transactions, invoices, customers, and other data are migrated efficiently without the tedious limitations of separate imports.

Hello David.

I agree with KiazzymaeCthere isn’t a single button in another QBO account that allows you to import all data directly from the .zip

Here is my workaround that you can try.

Download and install the quickbooks desktop, Here is the link for the enterprise trial, https://dlm2.download.intuit.com/akdlm/SBD/QuickBooks/2024/Latest/QuickBooksEnterprise24Trial.exe

Then migrate your quickbooks online data to quickbooks desktop, refer to the following link to reference

Once the data is converted to quickbooks desktop, migrate it back to quickbooks online but to the new qbo account this time. To convert from quickbooks desktop to quickbooks online you may refer to this link
