Problems linking bank accounts under 2nd QBO account

I set up a 2nd QBO account and tried to link accounts from TD Bank. It started to bring them into QBO but then it showed connected accounts from my other company account in QBO (even though I am using a different TD Bank login for this new company account). I cannot get pas this. Help!

Hi there, @mbpros. Thank you for sharing the detailed scenarios about what’s happening with your TD Bank accounts in your two QBO company files.

This appears to be a bank connection cross-contamination issue. This can occur when a second QBO company is set up with the same bank, even if a different bank login is used.

To resolve this issue, you can disconnect the accounts that aren’t needed in your second company and ensure that the correct accounts reflect the accurate transactions. Here's how:

  1. Go to your Bank transactions page and select the bank account tile you want to remove.
  2. Click the Pencil icon and choose Edit account details.
  3. Check the box next to Disconnect this account on save, then confirm by clicking Yes when prompted.
  4. Finally, click Save.
