At this time, the option to pay vendors using Direct Deposit isn't available. You can pay employees using Direct Deposit. I encourage you to check out this article for more info about Direct Deposit: How to set up employees and contractors with direct deposit.

The video you're referring to is going over a feature that's only available in QuickBooks Online in the USA. In Canada, there isn't an option to pay bills online directly through QuickBooks by entering your card information this way. I know that this option would save you tons of time though, so I want to encourage you to let our product development team know how important this feature could be for you. Have your voice heard by using the Gear icon, then selecting Feedback.
