Cheque Summary Report

Welcome to the Community. QuickBooks offers a variety of reports that help you streamline your work with ease. I'll be happy to share more info so you can continue to do the things you love. 

Based on what you've described, I recommend running the Cheque Summary Report. The good thing is that you can customize that report so it shows only uncleared cheques. To do this, open the Cheque Summary Report > click on Customize > click on the Filter drop-down > select Uncleared on the Cleared option. After this you can run the report so it only shows Uncleared cheques as you intend to. In QuickBooks Desktop you can run the Missing Cheques report and customize it, so you can see what matters most.  Here's how;

1. Select Reports

2. Choose Banking and then Missing Cheques

3. Use the ▼ dropdown menu to Specify Account

4. Hit OK

5. Open Customize Report 

6. Place a checkmark beside all items you want displayed in the Columns section

7. Hit OK to run the report

In addition, you may prefer the Transaction History report.
