My company is Canada company. is it the reason that export qbo data to qbdt not working for my company?

The conversion tool only applies to QBO US version. You might consider converting your data from QBO CA version to QBO US version as the first step, and then converting it to QB Desktop US version. You can use the trial version to access your historical data for good. You can start over with your data in QB Desktop Canadian with a non subscription later.

There are multiple ways to export data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), Utteeya.

 

You can use a third-party migration app from our app store for automatic data transfer between QBO and QBDT, or manually move your data because the platforms operate independently.

 

To get started:

 

  1. Click the Settings icon and select Export Data.
  2. Under the Reports tab, specify the desired date range for the data export.
  3. Use the slider to include or exclude specific items within Reports and Lists.
  4. Once adjustments are complete, click Export to Excel to download your data.
