Export T4s to Excel

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community and thank you for reaching out today! QuickBooks is a versatile program that enables you to get your work done faster. I'll be happy to provide some information on exporting your T4s to Excel.

If you need to file T4s electronically, QuickBooks Online supports creating an XML file for electronic transmittal. This XML file can be submitted to the Canada Revenue Agency via their Internet File Transfer service. QuickBooks does not support exporting T4s to Excel, they come only in PDF version.

I can see the importance of having the ability to edit the information on the T4 slips.  However, QuickBooks Online Payroll doesn't provide the option to directly edit the information yourself.  If you need to do so, I recommend contacting us outside of Community so we can work with you directly and make the necessary changes as soon as possible.
