You can add your tax numbers to invoices by using custom fields or by including them in the description or memo field.

 

If your QBO plan includes custom fields, you can use them to add tax numbers to invoices. Here's how:

 

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom fields.

2. Click Add field, name it ("Tax ID" or "Business Number").

3. Enable the field for invoices and toggle Print on form and Save.

 

 

4. Create an invoice, enter the tax number in the custom field.

5. Save to display the tax number on your invoices.

 

 

Or you can add your tax number to the product or service description. Here's how:

 

1. Select a product or service line on the invoice.

2. Enter your tax number in the Description field.

3. Preview and save to ensure it appears with the item descriptions.

 

You can also use the Memo field to display your tax number at the bottom of the invoice. Here's how:

 

1. Scroll to the Memo section on the invoice page.

2. Enter your tax number in the Memo field.

3. Save and review to confirm it displays correctly.

 

These methods allow you to display your tax numbers on invoices.
