Welcome to the Community space, gcooperconstruction.

Let's adjust your Settings to make Exclusive of Tax the default option on your invoices. Please know that this impacts all transactions, regardless of whether they involve suppliers or customers.

To change the tax setting from inclusive to exclusive, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings
  2. Navigate to the Advanced tab, then click the pencil icon on the Accounting section.
  3. On the Default tax rate selection ▼ dropdown menu, choose Exclusive of Tax.
  4. Hit Save, and then Done.

Once done, create an invoice to check if the Amounts are Exclusive of Tax by default.

What's more, you can send invoice reminders automatically or manually to customers about their due dates.
