Hi Lefty66, you need to connect your email account through the Send Forms preferences to email invoices from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) using your Intuit ID.
To do this, go to the QuickBooks Edit menu, then select Preferences, click Send Forms, and hit the Add button under My preferences. The system will prompt to enter an Email ID, choose an Email Provider, and click OK. Once done, QuickBooks will require you to log in using your Intuit credentials to finish the setup.
