You can directly integrate your accounting system with QuickBooks Online (QBO) to transfer your data, Patricia.

If you wish to import your data from other accounting software, I recommend contacting them to verify if they can integrate it directly into QuickBooks Online. Alternatively, you can find a third-party app that combines both software by navigating to Apps in the left menu and searching for the desired app.

Another option is to use QuickBooks' Import data feature to transfer data from another accounting system, either via spreadsheet sync or CSV file.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then click Import data.

  2. In the dropdown arrow, choose what data type to import.
  3. Click Import.

  4. Select which import method to use and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.

For detailed info, feel free to review this article: Common questions about importing data to QuickBooks Online.

Once everything is in place, review your bank transactions before categorizing them into the correct account.
