I can't reply to a response to my earlier query. I get Authentication Failed. What do I do?

I asked a question yesterday and received a reply from Moiraskye T but can't reply to it.

I have to pack up my computer to move in a few days so I'll delay clearing cache until then. It's always a bit of a pain. In the meantime I tried Firefox instead of my usual broswer, Chrome, and it worked. It seems clearing cache would help but as I said I'll delay until Friday morning.
