Question

I have a pesky transaction that I've previously ignored, (not categorized), but it keeps coming back. It's not in my banking. Any ideas on how to remove it permantly?

Hi matrixfinancial,

QuickBooks Online is all about organizing and simplifying your books. It sounds like you're referring to a transaction in your For review tab. I'll be happy to assist you with this.

After you connect your credit card or bank account in QuickBooks Online, the system automatically downloads your recent transactions for you to review. At this point, you can either categorize these transactions to approve them in your books or Exclude them if necessary. Here's how to exclude. Go to Banking > For review tab and simply check off the box next to each transaction you need to remove, then hit Exclude. These transactions will move to the Excluded tab, and they won’t be added to QuickBooks or downloaded again. You can also access the Excluded tab after that to select these transactions and Delete permanently. For more on how to handle transactions in your feed, check out this article: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online

I hope this helps! You're always welcome to stop by if you have more questions.
