Please help, I want to reverse an accountants copy made in error.  I am unable to post adjusting entries until it is gone.

Hi there, DarcyNekurak.

The option to reverse the accountant's copy is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop. You'll need to wait for your accountant to import the copy before you can post some adjusting entries.

Thought you can remove the Accountant's Copy restriction, however, the process is irreversible and the changes on the current one will not be imported to the company file. I'd suggest consulting your accountant about this one.

For more details about the accountant's copy, you can check out this article: Use the Accountant's Copy.
