Is there any way to delete employees with a history from QBO? I need to delete before I can import from desktop & I can't seem to do it. Perhaps Intuit support can do?

It's great to have you here in the QuickBooks Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll enables you to remove employees from your list, as long as you haven't processed payroll yet.  Here's how;

1.  Log into QuickBooks Online and open Payroll from the left navigation menu

2. Select the Employees tab

3. Click on the employee name

4. Use the ▼ dropdown menu on the green Actions button and hit Delete employee.

In addition, rather than permanently deleting an employee, you have the option to make them "inactive".  The program has been designed to give you this option so you can access their information if you ever needed it in the future.
