Hi Sherri-Lyn.

Let’s go through some troubleshooting steps to help resolve this issue, as it may be related to your browser.

First, could you let me know if you've encountered any error messages while trying to press add Product or service? This information will help us pinpoint the problem and provide the most accurate solution.

To begin, try refreshing your web browser to ensure you’re viewing the most up-to-date information. Additionally, log out of QuickBooks and log back in to reset your session with the server. Once you’ve done that, please try adding the product or service to your invoice again.

If the issue persists after refreshing, I suggest accessing your account using a private or incognito browser window. This can help clear cached data and avoid issues caused by conflicting browser extensions that may interfere with QuickBooks.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open private/incognito mode on your browser:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari

Alternatively, you can switch to a supported browser to ensure full compatibility with QuickBooks and uninterrupted functionality.

I use the app, on my iPhone,

it just simply doesn’t allow me to press the button and even with Receipts it doesn’t send to my customers

Hi Sherri-Lyn,

I appreciate you getting back with additional details. I’ll provide the troubleshooting steps for iOS.

Sometimes, outdated cache files can impact your app's performance. To isolate the issue, let's refresh your app's data to improve functionality.

  1. Go to Settings, then tap General.
  2. Tap iPhone Storage, then tap the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app.
  3. Tap Offload App.

After completing these steps, restart your device and log back into the app to see if it works as expected. If the issue persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the app to ensure that you have the most up-to-date version.

If you still encounter difficulties after completing these steps, I recommend reaching out to our Live Support team by logging in to your QBO account in a web browser. They have the necessary tools to review your account further, identify the cause of the issue, and provide a resolution.

In the meantime, you can access your QuickBooks Online account using a web browser on your iPhone to manage products, services, or invoices.

Feel free to reach out with any updates or additional questions. We’re here to help.
