Even after you submit all the documents, our Merchant Services team at Intuit needs time to review and verify everything to ensure compliance with financial regulations. Here’s what happens:

 

  • They verify your business information and bank account details. This can take several business days.
  • If anything is missing or mismatched (legal name, Tax ID (EIN), address, or bank details), the process is paused until you provide the missing item.
  • In some cases, they require additional documents to confirm identity or business type.
     

QuickBooks Payments also has specific eligibility requirements, and approval depends on a credit and application review, so approval isn’t guaranteed for every applicant. You can also review the Intuit Payments Acceptable Use Policy to see the list of unsupported industries, users, and transactions.
