Used to go directly to invoice from an estimate now takes me to a page where I have to put cuatomer name in again and redo my work.

Hi there, Crestwood. Let’s work through some troubleshooting steps to avoid having to re-enter customer details when converting an estimate to an invoice.

If you’re utilizing the QuickBooks app on an iOS device, the option to convert estimates to invoices is found from the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner of the estimate section. To do this:

  1. In the QuickBooks app, go to the Menu option below.
  2. Tap Estimates under the All tab.
  3. Choose an entry to open the transaction.
  4. From the three-dot icon, click Convert to invoice.
  5. Once completed, all the details will be automatically converted and won’t require you to re-enter the information.

Thus, this will also apply when using the QuickBooks app on an Android device.

However, if this unusual behavior persists, let’s reset the app data to refresh your device and set it to its default state.

For iOS:

  1. Go to Settings and tap General.
  2. Click iPhone/iPad Storage, then select the QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Tap Offload App. This will free up the storage without deleting your app's documents and data.

For Android:

  1. Go to Menu ☰, then select More Options ⋮.
  2. Tap Settings, and click Refresh Data.
  3. Tap YES to confirm.

Alternatively, you can also access your account using a web browser available on your device.

Keep me posted on this thread, and I’ll be around to provide further help.
