Tracking mileage in QuickBooks Online is such a great way to take advantage of all the convenient tools available a cloud-based accounting platform. I know how important it is to be able to access the Mileage Tracking feature in the mobile app so you can account for your business-related trips. I'd be happy to shed some light on this for you so you can get back on track.
Our engineers have recently been made aware of an ongoing issue with the Mileage tab in the QBO mobile app on iOS. Users are noticing an inability to track their trips, or may be missing the Mileage option all together.
I'd recommend completing a few preliminary troubleshooting steps to see if you're able to resolve the issue on your end. Try clearing the app's cache from your phone's settings. Each mobile device will have a different way of dong this, but here's an article you may find helpful if you're using an iPhone: How to Clear iPhone Cache for Third-Party Apps.
If you're still noticing an issue with the Mileage tab, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app on your phone.
If the issue persists, I'd encourage you to reach out to our tech support team directly so an agent can add you to the list of impacted accounts. That way you'll be the first to know when our engineers have resolved this issue.
I hope this helps get you back on track.
Cheers.
