If you've recently opened a trial account for thirty days, the subscription would fall inactive if you have yet to subscribe. An account can also become inactive if there's been a change to the payment method, for which the subscription has not been paid. Another factor would be if you were connected to an Accountant who has transferred the billing back to you. In any case, you can check the status of your account and update any of the required elements to ensure the account is active. Here's how:
1. Click on the Gear in the top right of your QuickBooks account
2. Select Account and Settings
3. Choose Billing and Subscription
4. Check the payment method to ensure it's up to date by clicking on the hyperlink at the top
5. Be sure that the Company Address matches the address for your payment method exactly
6. When finished hit Confirm or Save
Note: If it was a trial that's now ended, you'll see an option to subscribe. Click on it and enter the required fields for your payment information.
You're all set! Your account will no longer appear as cancelled when you login.
