Why does this error message keep coming up, unable to get transactions for credit card account, even though we have entered the security info when logging into the bank

Error 185 - more security info required by your bank. I have fixed the connection issue but then a few minutes later this message pops up again.

Some banks or financial institutions have extra security steps that QuickBooks needs to follow every time it connects to your account. Even after entering your login credentials, your bank may still ask you to answer security questions or enter a one-time passcode for additional protection. This is why Error 185 keeps appearing. 

 

Your bank needs these security checks every time QuickBooks updates your transactions. If your bank has multiple security questions, you might see this error again. The system remembers your answers, which helps reduce how often you’re asked in the future.
