Wondering if it's possible to have tabs open on the online version, it's possible on the desktop version.

Hey lombard_4444,

 

Having QuickBooks in multiple tabs is a great way to multi-task and maximize your accounting efficiency! While it's possible to open multiple tabs in your web browser, the best way to unlock convenient tab management is by using the QuickBooks Online Desktop App. Simply visit http://quickbooks.intuit.com/apps/ to get started.

Now that the desktop version isn't working anymore, how do you have multiple tabs open. And I don't mean multiple windows open. I mean mutlitple tabs. The black navigation bar that showed multiple tabs open is no longer there on the online version. This was a very useful tool.

Thanks for joining us here.  Welcome!  Having the ability to open multiple tabs is a great time saver.  Additional tabs can be easily opened by right clicking on the current tab and then select New tab to the right, or Duplicate.   In addition, this can be accessed effortlessly in QuickBooks Online Accountant by going to Accountant tools > New window.
