Hi, billing119. Since the payment has already been returned to the client and removed from your bank account, create a check that affects Accounts Receivable, then unlink the original payment from the invoice (making it a credit). Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the +Create button, and click Check.
  2. Enter the necessary details, and ensure to select Accounts Receivable (A/R) in the CATEGORY field.
  3. Once done, click Save and close.

After that, you can now link it to the original payment by going through All apps > Customers Hub > Customers select the customer > click View/Edit for the original payment under the Transactions List Select the check, then Record and close.

Lastly, match the original invoice to the Bank feed chargeback transaction to keep your records accurate.

Please let us know if you have any other concerns.
