Why is PGR Accountants phoning QB customers and advising they use QB Payment instead of GoCardless?

Has QB given up on finding a GC fix? Looks like it, the fix is a long time coming, and your chosen accountancy firm with only 1 Google Review has an odd remit.

GoCardless is an amazing UK direct debit provider that offers incredible support. I guess that’s why QB don’t want us to use it, there is no comparison. QB has become a joke app recently.

Also, trying to log into these forums is like try to draw blood from a stone with all the redirect loops you have in place to make customers lives a living hell. Seeing as this issue is still not fixed after a year, makes me think it can only be deliberate.

To resolve the redirect loops when trying to log in to the forum, you can use a private or incognito browser window. This helps clear cached data and avoids conflicts with browser extensions that may interfere with QuickBooks.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open private/incognito mode on your browser:

 

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge
  • Command + Shift + N for Safari

 

Alternatively, you can switch to a supported browser to ensure full compatibility with QuickBooks and uninterrupted functionality.

The on-going issue 4+ weeks whereby QB no longer processes GC payments automatically. Can you confirm GC is not being replaced.

I’m using the latest Google Chrome browser, your website still churns out redirect loops, very embarrassing.

BTW, your Help AI chatbot doesn’t even know the url of your forum.

GoCardless is not being replaced, it remains available as an integrated payment option within QuickBooks Online.
 

Regarding the issue where payments are no longer processing automatically, you can manually mark your QuickBooks Online invoices as paid. Please ensure you verify that the payment was successful directly through your GoCardless account or your bank statement.
 

Because this issue has been ongoing for several weeks and is accompanied by redirect errors, I recommend contacting an Intuit Expert. They will be able to review your connection and investigate the root cause further.
