How to get a reminder for available credit?

If a customer has an available credit and I create a new invoice for that customer I want to get a reminder to apply the available credit.

Hi there, Whitney. When creating an invoice in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), you can receive a reminder to apply available credits by enabling one-time messages in the program settings.

 

To do this, go to Edit > Preferences… > General > My Preferences > Tick the Bring back all one time messages checkbox, then hit OK. Please note that enabling this option will activate all one-time messages throughout the software, not just the reminder for available credits.

 

After you create and save an invoice for a customer who has available credits, a pop-up box will appear reminding you to apply them.
