Question

I need to pause recurring payments for my clients for 1 month. Can I do this without having to cancel them and then create whole new recurring payments?

I would like to avoid having to go through the invite process again, as many clients take a long time to accept them. It's a hassle. I am taking time off for 1 month, and essentially need to reimburse or not charge for one month. Regular payments will resume after the one month.

Yes, you can pause the recurring payments without having to cancel them, @allesoundsllc.

There are two ways to pause the recurring payments. You can either select the Pause option or set them up as Unscheduled. However, before doing so, you'll need to do this process manually for each of your clients.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon and select Recurring Transactions.
  2. Locate your client from the list.
  3. Under the ACTION column, click the dropdown arrow and choose Pause.

Alternatively, you can:

  1. Select Edit.
  2. Change the Recurring Type to Unscheduled.
  3. Click Save Template when finished.
