Interest on Invoices

When transitioning from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to QuickBooks Online (QBO), invoice interest will not be transferred automatically, ajsneath.

To accurately reflect the accrued amounts for migrated invoices, you manually apply interest to any that are overdue. You can run an open invoice report to see which customers are overdue, then manually add finance charges.

Moving forward, you can set up and automatically apply late fees to overdue invoices in QBO, rather than doing it manually.
