is there a way to find last 4 digits on a credit card with no customer

so i cant find a customer with a charge i only have the last 4 digits of the credit card and the date

Yes, there is. You can go directly to the Merchant Service Center to search for that charge. You can access it through your QuickBooks Online account by clicking the Gear icon > Account and Settings > Payments tab, then clicking the View button next to the Merchant service center.

 

From there, here's how to find it:

 

  1. Go to the Activity & Reports tab, then select Transactions.
  2. Set the date range when the charge occurred.
  3. Click Show Advanced Options to filter further.
  4. Enter the last 4 digits under the Card number field.
  5. Once done, scroll down and click Search.

 

Once the transaction appears, click on it to view the full details, including the customer information associated with that charge.
