Question

My client accidentally filed 3 chargebacks, we both tried to reverse it. Now it's been well over 2 months & neither of us have received the money. How long does it take?

I got denied by quickbooks when I tried to reverse it. Her bank also tried to reverse it. The money was taken out of my account immediately upon chargeback months ago but still hasn't landed anywhere. This is concerning.

    Once your customer filed the chargeback, you should have received an email with instructions and deadlines if you get a chargeback notice. These include the case number, transaction details, why the charge was disputed, and how to challenge the dispute. 

     

    You'll want to ensure you have covered the steps in this guide: Respond to a chargeback to ensure you receive the funds.
