Hello there, Groundeffects12. I understand you’re waiting on these funds; I’d like to explain why your funds are still pending.

When a payment status shows as Review, it indicates that QuickBooks Payments is performing a review process before depositing the funds into your bank account. This is to safeguard your business against potential fraud or suspicious activities.

If you’re new to QuickBooks Payments, please note that initial payments may take up to five business days to process while your merchant account is being set up and verified. This verification helps ensure your account is compliant and secure.

Once your account setup is complete, future payments typically deposit within two business days. However, keep in mind that some banks may have their own processing times that could extend the settlement period.

If your payment is still in the Review section longer than expected, one thing you can do is to check your email or QuickBooks notifications for any requests to provide additional details. Alternatively, you can contact QuickBooks Payments Support directly for assistance in troubleshooting the delay and ensuring your account settings are correct.

Our payments are stuck in review, we have been told on two separate occasions that the funds have been released. Called again they said the funds were not released, but now today they are released, but we have to wait 4-5 days for a manager to review.  we are looking at moving our merchant accounts to another platform.  Anyone have any suggestions for low transactions and B2B, mostly commercial tenants and commercial vendors.

Here’s a follow up from Intuit Payments, they sent an email to say they still need more information, resolution center shows that everything is received and it is under review and is taking longer than normal, 4 minutes later received another email saying we have completed our review and funds should be available within 2 days.  They are a joke.  Anyone have any suggestions for a merchant account, we have low transactions and are B2B, mostly commercial tenants and commercial vendors.

@CF8 Check Melio as an alternate option to receive payments for free from your business clients (B2B).

I recommend paying one bill first, with a minimum amount of $500. Look for the cashback link I shared in the post above to get an extra benefit. If you successfully pay the first bill without any issues, your account is essentially ready to accept payments from business clients via credit card, debit card, or ACH.
