The message about reaching your limit appears because all accounts have preset transaction limits for mobile deposits, @wayne48. You can check your current limit by snapping a picture of your check in the mobile app. It will be displayed on the screen during the deposit process.

While these limits are standard and cannot be adjusted, here are two steps you can take to deposit your checks:

  • Wait for Your Limit to Reset
Transaction limits are preset by QuickBooks and typically refresh on a weekly basis. If you wish to make a deposit using the mobile app, you’ll need to wait until the limit refreshes next week before attempting another deposit. If today is Saturday, the last day of the week, your limit will reset on Sunday, allowing you to make mobile check deposits starting tomorrow.
  • Use Another Deposit Option
If you need to deposit the check immediately, you can try cashing or depositing it at your linked bank account or another financial institution. Just make sure the check is properly endorsed and follow their guidelines.
