You'll see your deposits within five business days after setting up your QuickBooks Payments account, Macllc. However, this varies depending on your account configurations. Let's discuss this topic further.
When new to QuickBooks Payments, the first batch of payments will be deposited within five business days as we set up your account. Processing them will be at regular speed after the initial setup.
Also, deposit speed can differ depending on the product you're utilizing and the payment type you're processing. You can check it in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) by following the steps below:
Go to the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
Choose the Payments tab.
Review the Deposit Speed section.
Know that most deposit payments from credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, or ACH are processed the next day. If you transacted them before 3 PM PT, they will be in your bank account the next business day. However, if you submit them after 3 PM PT, this will be deposited in two business days.
I am wondering if you ever got your funds deposited. On April 18, 2025 - a client paid via QB. We applied for a payment account but elected to use our own bank as to where we wanted our money to go. Interestingly enough - looks like QB didnt like that. Your QuickBooks payments account has been declined. You can continue to create and send invoices, but you can no longer get paid online or in-person. Any available funds will be returned to your customers. Reach out to them directly to find another way to get paid.
Its May 22 and we have yet to see our money, our client has not received his refund either. We keep getting emails "warning us" to take action or our funds will be returned. I've lost track of the times we've called QB to get this resolved. Returning money that doesn't belong to QB should not be this hard. Considering that they make money off of small business' why are they trying to steal from us?
