Are you receiving an error when processing your online payment? One of the main reasons why online payment processing may stop working it's because of technical or browser-related issues. I'm here to help you fix this issue, Elitells.
You can perform the troubleshooting steps by logging into your QBO account using a private window. Use the shortcut keys below to access the window:
Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
Safari: Command + Shift + N
Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
This deletes all cookies and browser history, making your browser brand new and error-free. Once done, check to see if you're able to process online payments. If it is, go back to your main browser settings and clear the cache.
Cached files and data can sometimes cause a webpage to reload improperly or loop unexpectedly. Also, some browsers have settings that may trigger automatic page reloads, creating processing issues. But if the issue persists, you can switch to another supported browser.
However, if all the steps provided above don't help, I recommend reaching out to our payment support to help you identify the root cause of the problems. They are more equipped with specialized knowledge about the payment processing system.
After resolving the issue, you may want to check your financial data for the current period. Check out this article to help you use the Reports feature: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.
