We sell jewelry with gold in, gold supplied by 3rd party who gives us an invoice with normal vat for silver products and DRC vat on gold items. our final client, normally jewellers needs a DRC amount to put on their VAT reports.
The “value” box does not register any tax amount if I select excl/incl tax on snap receipt even though I select “standard” and when I try and include it manually it does not accept any value.
When we make payments between accounts in different currencies, the sending bank and the receiving bank both levy fees, so the amount received is less than the amount sent. Quickbooks imports the transaction as a credit net of these fees, and you can't split a transfer. How do we record the fees? For example, say we transfer £10,000 from Natwest to our Euro account with HSBC. The amount of Euros is €11,600. Natwest charges £25 for making the transfer, and HSBC charges EUR30 to clear the funds (€60 in total). The imported HSBC transaction shows the transfer was for €11,540 which is wrong as the accounts will not show the bank charges.
Is there a way to reset? Any other suggestions?
Hello I have Quickbooks Pro 2019 desktop version. I am based in South Africa, I recently had a power failure which resulted in my PC shutting down incorrectly, after startup I got a 3371 error message on QuickBooks, I followed all the prompts with the hub to get it fixed. It does not go passed the online activation stage. There's an option to register by phone but apparently no South African support available, Can someone help get me passed this activation please?? Error message attached in pdf

Its so frustrating and has been happening for the past four months. I scroll down and up, make the screen larger and then smaller - log out and back in. Nothing helps. Then I use the bank account register to change the status to C ready for reconciliation. Does anyone else have this issue?
I've download the template but it keeps changing type to stock instead of noninventory
How do you make a credit note from a bundle invoice?
I assigned my Business Card as a Credit card as there is no cheque option. All payments are via bank account. Everything balances to the last cent. But shows up as a double negative now.Can my bank account be labeled wrong. And show as a negative income? Example: "Actual Bank Balance" +100.40-As seen on QBO:"Bank Balance" - 100.40"In Quickbooks" - 100.40"Recon" as + 200.80 difference

Total QBO noob here. Here's the scenario: a customer overpaid me. When I try to match the payment to the invoice, I get notified that I need to correct the error. I simply want the overpayment to carry over to next month - I don't want to issue another invoice now, since the invoices are done for hourly work and I do not yet know how much time I will spend on this particular customer. How do I go about this?
I can be contacted on: xxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.xx
