Can an employee be paid in off cycle in QBO UK?
I want to keep the current records that I have but I don't want to keep paying the monthly fee when the business is no longer operating
When I log in there are no previous years and there is also no way to contact help.
Can I take away a payment entry
This feature caught me out. There is no clear indication there are possibly multiple matches unless you expand the transaction line. This then tells you there are other valid matches but you have to go find them with the find other matches option, even though it's just told you about the earlier invoice. It explains the logic it is using :" Invoice YYYY is more recent (dated 2025-07-01) compared to Invoice XXXX (dated 2025-05-01). Therefore, Invoice YYYY is prioritized as the most likely match." There should be a option to suggest the earliest dated open invoice of the same amount at the very least. I've talked to support and the say it is working as designed. This isn't helpful as it means it is now far easier to match the wrong invoice in the bank feed.
Can anyone explain why when I convert an Estimate to an Invoice and add a new invoice address the entire contents of the invoice disappear?!90% of the invoices we generate will be invoiced to a different company to the one we addressed the estimate to. I can't understand why just changing the address name on an invoice would automatically delete the contents of the invoice?! It is a long-winded way of going about things having to re-input all the lines back in, when all I need to do is add a different address!Is there a way to stop this?Thanks
Only a small number of the existing categories in the CoA have a balance, 3 or 4 maybe. We need to rename many, and add many more, which would be a whole lot easier to do if we could create a spreadsheet and upload. We are not looking to alter the categories that already have balances.
When adding a new user to let them track time only , the email is not sending
Hi, my credit card company says i am connected, but it does not export expenses into QB online. I did a manual export to a csv file and then requested upload into QB. It said it all worked yet i've gone into QB and the transactions do not appear anywhere. Any ideas please. I am on the basic subscription and I do not have any issues with transactions exporting from Natwest Bank Account. Thanks Tracey
I am a property photographer. When I invoice a client I list all the properties I have done for them in an invoice in the description box. However when I select the service I want to add to each property, say a 2 bedroom house, it keeps clearing the description. How can I select a service without clearing the description? It's making the invoice process impossible. I can't select a service first as I can't see what property it is for. Thanks
why has it changed its rubbish
Hi Guys, Don't seem to find much on this but QuickBooks Self-Employed sent me an email last month (November 2024) saying the App will no longer be available to re-download but WILL still be supported. Seems a strange move as I find the app very useful and was one of the reasons I use this service. Can anyone from Quickbooks/Intuit or anyone seen anything online about why they're doing this. Is it making way for a new app or something? Slightly annoyed as this is a service I and indeed we all pay for and feels like we're losing a feature.
