How do I put my licence into the android app version as I cannot see this option?

Hello Userdarbfunne72, Can you confirm what you mean by licence? Where are you looking to put that on the QuickBooks Online version? Can we check is that from the QuickBooks Desktop product?

I have the desk top disc but installed the apk from Google play store for my phone. I wanted to use this on my phone so I was under the impression all I would need to do is put my license key in but this doesn't seem to be the case as it does not give me the option to key in my license.

Hello there, userdarbfunne72.

 

You don't need to enter a license number when installing QuickBooks Online on your phone. QuickBooks Desktop on the other hand can only be installed on your computer or desktop due to its compatibility requirements. 

 

If you're using QuickBooks Desktop, I'll show you how to install the license you have on your computer: 

 

  1. Ensure that your computer meets the system requirements with the QuickBooks edition and version you have. 
  2. Once done, you can download your product here: https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products.
  3. After the download is done, open the file QuickBooks.exe.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions and accept the software license agreement and then select Next.
  5. Enter your Product and License numbers. Then select Next.
