If you're using iOS device, these are the steps:
Access your device and proceed to your phone's settings.
Click General, then Select iPhone Storage.
Select QuickBooks Online from the list of application.
Click Offload App to free up the storage without getting rid of the documents and data for the app.

I have deleted the app and reinstalled it but it’s not working correctly. When I prepare an invoice most of the locations I’ve set up have disappeared. Also I can’t categories any transactions. It’s working fine on my iPad but not on my iPhone. I have updated my iPhone but still not working correctly.

I've checked here on our end and found out that there's an ongoing issue with the iOS mobile app missing some data. Other users are also experiencing this matter. Please know that our engineers are working on a fix.
I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support team by accessing your QBO account in your browser. This way, you can contact them from there so they can add you to the list of affected users. Rest assured, they'll notify you once it's fixed. Here's how:
