An account in Chart of Accounts has been incorrectlty set up as Account Type Creditor and Detail Type Creditor. How can I change this?

Let me walk you through several steps to modify your account in your Chart of Accounts in your QuickBooks Online (QBO), DaveH4. 

When one has incorrectly set up an account, like their Account Type and Detail Type, we can utilize the Edit option to make up some changes.

Here's how: 

1. Go to your Transactions, then choose Chart of Accounts.

2. Find the account you've set up and want to edit, then click the dropdown arrow beside Run Report to expand the options. 

3. Select Edit.

4. A prompt will appear with your account details where you can change the Account Type and Detail Type.

5. Once done, click Save and Close.
