Asking me about Apple or Google billing when I am trying to setup payroll subscription

The prompt you’re receiving when trying to add Payroll indicates that your billing is currently managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.    

  

To add Payroll to your existing QuickBooks Online subscription, you’ll need to transfer your billing to Intuit. Once the transfer is complete, you’ll receive an email confirming the change.             

 

Additionally, please note that you must sign up for QuickBooks Payroll before transferring your billing from the App Store or Google Play Store.   

 

Here's how:

 

  1. On the We need to transfer your QuickBooks subscription page, select Transfer subscription.
  2. If you prefer to enter your billing information at a later time, select Continue to payroll.
  3. After you've completed the transfer, cancel your subscription on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
