I have an additional subscription and want to copy over my current structure to the new company

set the date range on the Reports tab.
Turn the switch on or off to remove or add items from the Reports and Lists.

while this appears simple - in practice the tools aren't very useful. For example: i exported the customer list, and then when to upload the customer list. As the exported excel file was in a report, the field mapping did not correlate. This effectively means you need to manually cleanse/intervene when in reality if you are simply copying the master data from one company to another company the master data fields should be the same.

I also can't find a simple way to export the Chart of Accounts and then import.

Surely Quickbooks can have a file export that mirrors their file import structure?

QuickBooks Online (QBO) has an option to export your customer list and chart of accounts into an Excel file, James100. This way, you'll be able to import it back to QBO seamlessly.

When our exported file corresponds to the QBO file structure, we can seamlessly import it back without manual adjustments. If you export the customer data from the Reports page, we have various options of file formats to choose from.
