Hi there, I'm new to QB and also a relatively new Plc. I always assumed Lunch/sustenance was different from entertaining. is this not the case?thank you in advance

Thanks for you post and welcome to the QuickBooks Online Community!

These are default accounts created by QuickBooks - you can choose which to use or create custom accounts by going to Chart of Accounts > New. The main factors affecting the accounting and reporting is the type and detail type of account - as long as you know which account to put transactions to the name as it appears on the chart of account does not affect the accounting.
