Thank you for reaching out to the Community, @chrisjhomewood. I'd be glad to lend a hand on how to share your account with your accountant.
You can give your accountant access to your QuickBooks Self-Employed company file and accounting info. This lets them review your books, make corrections, and fix any tricky transactions. It also makes it easier to collaborate, especially during tax season.
To invite them, here's how:
Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Select your profile ⚙ icon.
Select Accountant.
In the Invite your accountant field, enter your accountant's email address. Then select Send invite.
Select Done.
Once done, they'll receive an email invitation to access your account. After they accept it, they can access your accounts through QuickBooks Online Accountant.
In case you don't want your accountant to have access anymore, you can easily remove them.
Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Select your profile ⚙ icon.
Select Accountant.
Select Remove accountant.
Let me also share these easy-to-access articles, webinars, and video tutorials that will help you in familiarizing the different tasks, features, and functions of QBSE. Below are the following:
Please let me know if you have further questions or concerns. I'll be around to lend a helping hand. Take care and feel free to reach out to the Community at any time!
I'll ensure you that you'll be able to add your accountant, robboyle.
When you're unable to select the Accountant option in QuickBooks Self Employed, you may have subscribed from a third-party provider (i.e. Apple or Google play store). Currently, adding an accountant is available to regular web subscribers. You can migrate your billing from Google/Apple to Intuit so that you're able to utilise the option to invite an accountant.
