I have been put on the simple start plan but I only need the sole trader plan. How do I change?

You can still cancel your subscription in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Simple Start. Then, subscribe to a new subscription to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

Here's how to cancel your account:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an admin user.
2. Click Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings.
3. Go to Billing & subscription.
4. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel subscription or Cancel online. 
5. Follow the onscreen steps.

Once done, you can subscribe to a plan available for sole traders on this page: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/pricing/
