Question

I use Quikbooks Accounting app - when I try and login on website, it seems to be like setting up a new account. Asking when my business began etc. is it ok to login?

I don’t want to login if all the info on my app is wiped as it seems like I am setting up a new account. I am using the email address I use to of in to the app. I created my account on the app and have never signed into the website

I want to ensure you can log in to QuickBooks Online (QBO) in a web browser. Please ensure to use the same username and password to sign in.

 

Also, check if you're accessing the correct web login for your subscription type.

Well I created my account when I downloaded the Quickbook Accounts app from the App Store. I didn't realise at the time there were different Quickbook apps. I have tried logging in on the Online login and also the self employed login, but it doesn't show the info that the app has - all my data since July 2022.

In order for us to review your account, we'll have to do it securely to protect your privacy. Since Community is a public forum, we're unable to pull up your account information here. That said, it's best to contact our customer support so they can further determine the cause of the missing company data. They also have the ability to raise an investigation if necessary.

 

To do that:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. Select the Help (?) icon.
  3. Scroll down to select the Contact Us button and follow the prompts.
  4. You will be able to request a callback or start a live chat with an expert.

Furthermore, you can upload your phone's contact list into the QBO app. This way, you don't have to worry about adding customers manually if they're already in your device's contact list.
