Im trying to connect my accountant but there is no accountant section in the about you page

The option to connect or invite an accountant isn't available in QuickBooks Self-Employed(QBSE), useraydn.

QBSE is for self-employed individuals who make quarterly estimated tax payments and file your Schedule C.

You can sign-up to QBO if you need an accountant to review your accounting. You'll simply need to import your data and switch your subscription. Check out this link for your guide: Switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online.

Once you're on QBO, here's how to invite an accountant:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a master admin.
2. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage users.
3. Select the Accounting firms tab.
4. Click Invite.
5. Enter your accountant's info and select Save.

QuickBooks emails an invite to your accountant. The email has steps for how to connect your accounts. If your accountant doesn't have QuickBooks Online Accountant, there's also a link for how to sign up.

For accountants who don't have QBO for Accountant subscription, you can still invite them. Signing up is free and allows them access to your QBO company at no cost to you.
